Illustration: Pastries

This is class work from my Intro to Illustration class. I have to say this is probably one of my favorite art pieces I've made for any class so far. I'm finding illustration to be really fun for me.
Here I have some of the process from the gray-scale to the final image.

The illustration is supposed to promote a particular bakery and highlight the pastries. We also needed to include a logo and our group decided on using warm colors in the foreground and cool subdued colors for the backgrounds. Definitely failed in a few areas, but all around I feel it's a step up and I really like the result.
